Turning Pharmaceutical Demand into Executable Supply Plans
I connect market requirements with production, materials and capacity plans, working across functions to build clear, executable planning processes. I bring more than 20 years of experience in planning, supply chain and pharmaceutical manufacturing, with professional experience in Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
Professional Profile
Experienced in leading planning teams and coordinating business and manufacturing functions to align demand with production capacity and material availability.
From demand to execution
Develop annual demand plans, contribute to S&OP discussions, and translate priorities into production, materials and inventory plans.
Building planning capability
Lead a team of eight, set objectives, allocate responsibilities and support performance and professional development.
Continuous progress
Contribute to ERP implementation and improve processes using performance reviews, 5S and Kaizen practices.
Areas of Expertise
Hands-on experience in multi-product pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
Planning Field Notes
Short, practical perspectives on turning operating priorities into executable plans. More topics can be added over time.
From forecast to executable plan
A useful plan starts with product mix and market direction, then translates assumptions into production and material requirements for review with the relevant teams.
Schedule around real constraints
Scheduling needs to account for line capabilities, batch sizes, equipment and material availability, and quality or validation requirements before dates are committed.
Connect material delays to plan impact
Tracking receipts, delays and affected batches helps teams prioritize actions across Planning, Purchasing, Production and Quality.
Selected Case Studies
Examples of scope, role and execution. No confidential operating details or unverified numerical outcomes are included.
Planning and capacity system | Riyadh Pharma, since 2016
Challenge and scope: Translate market priorities into executable annual plans and align product mix, capacity and material readiness across 11 production lines.
My role: Led and maintained the planning and capacity system as an additional initiative alongside the core role, coordinating with Sales and Marketing, Purchasing, Finance, Maintenance and Engineering, Production, and Quality.
Approach and tools: Translated the five-year market plan into an annual plan, then into production schedules and material requirements; followed actions weekly and reviewed KPIs monthly; applied 5S and Kaizen. Compared each line’s utilization with its best year in the prior three years and compared production volumes with previous years.
Qualitative outcomes reported: Shorter production cycles, lower stock levels, and increased relative line utilization. The system continues to be improved; no performance figures are published.
Lesson: Connect demand, capacity, materials and execution follow-up in one operating cadence, with a clear comparison baseline for each line.
Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM implementation contribution | Riyadh Pharma
Project context: Implementation at one site, affecting approximately 25–50 users.
My role: Planning representative and implementation contributor; I did not lead the full transformation program.
Approach and scope: Contributed to requirements, process and module design, data preparation, testing, go-live support and post-launch issue resolution. Scope covered inventory, approved supplier lists, procurement, demand and supply planning, manufacturing, shipping, and quality approval workflows.
Documented outcome: Supported implementation through go-live. No unverified financial or operational impact is claimed.
Lesson: Involving planning users in process design, data preparation and testing helps connect material and production planning with daily execution.
Product launch readiness | Rivage and Riyadh Pharma
Context and role at Rivage: Project Manager for more than 40 product launches, including a men’s line and sun-care products.
Role at Riyadh Pharma: Planning and supply chain contributor to the launch committee, coordinating material priorities, trial quantities, batch sizes, timelines, coding and process-validation batches.
Collaboration: Coordinated with Production, Quality, Validation, R&D and Technical teams. In pharmaceutical launches, my role covered planning and supply chain; I did not lead the full product launch.
Documented outcome: More than 40 launches at Rivage. No unverified numerical outcomes are claimed for pharmaceutical launches.
Lesson: Clearly distinguish project-manager ownership from planning contribution, particularly where cosmetic and pharmaceutical requirements differ.
